Temperature continues to fall in Kathmandu Valley

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country is expected to have fair conditions. Foggy conditions have been reported in some areas of the Terai and hilly regions. In Kathmandu Valley, the temperature is steadily declining, with a minimum of 8 degrees Celsius recorded this morning, which later rose slightly to 10 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts partly cloudy skies in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while fair weather is anticipated elsewhere. Light rain is expected in one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, along with light snowfall in one or two higher hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are forecasted for the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with a chance of light rain in one or two places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Over the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain may occur in one or two locations in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, light snowfall is likely in one or two areas in the higher hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
