Nepal Sambat 1144 Dillathwa,14 (5th Sarawan, 2081) Saturday, Bampijhyala, Dolakha.
Dolakha Bhimeshwor, located in the ancient city of Dolakha, sweated from 1:47 PM to 3:51 PM today. Although the sweating stopped for a while, the sweating started again from 4:05 PM to 4:15 PM.
Bharat Bahadur Shrestha, Chairman of Bhimeshwor Guthi Management Committee, has said that the sweat coming from the stones of Bhimeshwor Temple since BS 1990 is a sign of crisis in the country. Also Chairman Shrestha said that from BS 1990 to Baisakh 25th of BS 2078, there was sweating for the 20th and the 21st time as well.
Dolakha Bhimsen (Bhimeshwor) sweat on the stone (statue) and popular belief that sweat on the Bhimsen stone has its own original feature. The local residents believe that before any accident or trouble or crisis occurs in the country or outside the country, sweat comes on the rock of Bhimsen (Bhimeshwor). That belief has so far proved true.
The sweat coming from Bhimsen’s rock is also considered as a strong predictor of crisis in the country. However, there is no mention of the sweat coming to the stone in the old copperplates, bhojapatra, and tadpatra available in Dolakha. It has been found mentioned in BS 1832.
According to the elderly local residents, there was sweat on the rocks of Bhimeshwor before the BS 1990 earthquake. Similarly, before the execution of four martyrs in BS 1997, before the democratic movement of BS 2007, Before the democratic revolution in Nepal in 2007 BS, before the ascension of the Father of the Nation Tribhuvan in 2011, 2015, 2017 before people’s democracy was taken away, before the BS 2018 severe floods and landslides, before the ascension of Shri 5 Mahendra in the year BS 2028. The sweat that came in the year BS 2035 Fagun is connected with the people’s movement of the year BS 2036. Local residents say that before the earthquake in BS 2045, before the mass movement of BS 2046, the statue of Bhimeshwor was sweating profusely. On the 1st of Magh 2057, at 6:40 pm and on the 14th of Magh at 5:40 pm, the statue of Bhimeshwor sweated twice.
It has been set up as a pre-information of the tragic incident of the members of the royal family that took place in the royal palace on 19th Jestha 2058 BS. In the same way, the sweat that came in 2061 BS Chaitra, 2062 BS Paush is connected to the people’s movement of 2062-063 BS.
Similarly, the sweat in Magh 2064 BS is associated with the end of the monarchy. Similarly, there was sweat in Dolakha Bhimeshwor on 30th of Mangsir and 13th of Fagun 2070 BS. Which is connected with the chridamani dhaleko which is behind the bar of Lord Bhimeshwor. The sweat that occurred in Mangsir 2071 BS has been linked to the earthquakes that occurred on 12th and 29th of Baisakh 2072 BS. Similarly, it came on Ashoj 10, 2074 BS from 2:55 PM to 5:15 PM in the afternoon. Which is connected with special political change and presidential election.
Similarly, it came from 6:28 am to 7:25 am on Thursday, 8th of Fagun 2076 BS. Which is linked to the corona virus infection in the world. Similarly, on 9th Magsir 2077 BS, it was reported that he was sweating while entering the Guthiyar Bandh temple for mid-day worship. From 1:43 PM to 2:54 PM in the afternoon, the sweat came and stopped for a while, then it continued until 3:54 PM and stopped. KP Sharma Oli has taken this as the dissolution of the representative assembly on Sunday 5th Paush 2077 BS and the second case of corona infection in the world after India and Nepal. Similarly, on Saturday 25th Baisakh 25, 2078 BS, there was sweating from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm, which is linked to the third corona infection. The people of Dolakha are curious about what will happen to the sweat that came to Bhimeshwor Bhagwan today ?
In this way, the local residents are saying that the sweat coming from the rock of Bhimeshwor will bring evil to the country. This time too, it is the 21st time that sweat has come to Dolakha Bhimeshwor. As a result of these events, after sweating on the statue of Dolakha Bhimeshwor, some events have started to happen in the country. There has been a religious belief that if sweat comes from the right side of Bhimsen, it is disloyal to the royal family and if sweat comes from the left side, the people are disloyal. Thus, when the stone of Bhimeshwor sweats, the surrounding Draupadi, Kunti, Gada and the pylon above the entrance, Kshetrapal (Kshapara) also sweat.
Thus, when Lord Bhimeshwor sweats, it is customary to wipe the sweat only from the priest who has been initiated. It was a tradition to send news to the royal palace through the district administration office along with tears and offerings.
But at present Guthiyars are directly delivering to the office of the President through the Ministry of Home Affairs of the District Administration Office. After sending the news in this way, it was customary to send goat (Boka) Pooja in the form of forgiveness pooja from the royal palace, but now it is done by the President’s office to send the apology pooja. According to Birajman Shrestha, the Ex-president of ward 2.
President Shrestha said that on behalf of the Dolakha Bhimeshwor Guthi Management Committee and the people of Dolakha, we are praying for the protection of the entire Nepalese people.
Jai Dolakha Bhimeshwor.
