In a tragic incident unfolding in Morang, the collision of a truck and a Tata Sumo has claimed the lives of three individuals. The accident occurred early this morning at Bhel Bhari Municipality-3, shattering the tranquility of the area. The victims have been identified as Yadukanta Bhattarai, 52, and Dipa Khanal, 44, both hailing from Kamal Rural Municipality-2 in Jhapa.
Adding to the devastation, Krishna Gajurel, 36, from Birtamod-2, the driver of the ill-fated Tata Sumo, succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
The collision, which took place around 6:30 am, involved a truck bearing the registration number Province 1-02-001 Kha 9676, and a Tata Sumo identified as Me 1 Jha 2856. As authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, one individual remains in critical condition.
