A total of 46 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday while 17 people recovered from COVID-19.
In 835 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 42 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Tuesday.
Likewise, the virus infection was detected in four people in 675 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours. Currently, there are 736 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. So far, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
